Billy Sea and I are trying to write 10 bridge songs this month for the Steel Bridge Songfest "songdrive" available at http://www.songdrive.org. This is the first one we've recorded. The lyric in the bridge in the song above will probably get retooled a bit still, but it's a start.

For this song I was actively trying to write an up-tempo call and response song that we could teach the audience to sing really quickly. I think it could work as a straight folk song as well as a rocker number, depending on the musicians available. -Charlie
